About Sinéad
Fáilte. You are very welcome. I'm Sinéad Molony, a Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist and educator. My work is grounded in a deep belief in the human capacity for growth, healing, and change when we are met with compassion, understanding, and genuine connection.
I hold a Master's degree in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy and work from a trauma-informed, person-centred perspective. Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches, I tailor my work to support each person's unique needs. I have a particular interest in somatic and creative ways of working, recognising that healing and insight often emerge through more than words alone.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in research and education, and have long been interested in themes of identity, culture, gender, belonging, and lived experience. These interests continue to inform my therapeutic work today, and I am fascinated by the ways our personal histories, relationships, bodies, and environments shape who we are and how we relate to the world around us.
I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of human experience and feel privileged when clients invite me to listen to their story and trust me to support them in their unfolding journey.
My aim is to offer a warm, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever brings you to therapy.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, life transitions - or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself - I will work alongside you with care, respect, and compassion.
I understand that finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. If you would like to learn more about working together, I warmly invite you to get in touch.
Areas of interest:
As a therapist, I see each client as a unique individual with their own experience of the world. I work less with “symptoms” and more with the person in front of me - seeking to understand how the world is for them, what their needs and goals are, and how I might best support them in finding their way through whatever has brought them to therapy. Some areas I have experience working with and/or a particular interest in include:
Anxiety and stress
Boundaries and self-worth
Depression
Fertility, infertility, IVF
Gender and sexuality
Gender-based and sexual violence
Isolation and loneliness
Life direction, identity, and purpose
Loss, bereavement, grief
Migration and belonging
Relationship difficulties
Trauma and complex trauma
Transpersonal and spiritual exploration
